2026 SENIOR INFORMATION - North Hardin High School

Senior Class Sponsors: sandy.skeeters@hardin.kyschools.us   (located in the counseling office) and diane.trotta@hardin.kyschools.us (located in room 410)

 

Senior Dues:  $45 – Must be paid before Prom.  These may be paid starting in August.  See Ms. Skeeters or Ms. Trotta to pay dues. Senior dues are required for any senior who chooses to participate in major senior activities such as Prom or the Senior Trip.  A senior class T-shirt is included with payment of dues. Dues are NOT a requirement for graduation.   

 

Jostens Orders for Cap, Gown, and Tassel and Graduation Announcements:  A cap & gown is required to be worn during the graduation ceremony.  The cost is approximately $50.00.  ALL seniors will need to wear the gown from Jostens.  Jostens also offers formal graduation announcements and other memorabilia.  Prices vary. Orders should be placed online at www.jostens.com.  There will be a video in the senior Google Classroom to show where to find the cap & gown item on the website, and a video showing other items such as graduation announcements, clothing, etc.   

*Orders should be placed by February 1, 2026.  Late orders placed will have a late fee added.  

 

Prom: Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Paroquet Springs Conference Center from 8 pm - midnight.  Prom tickets will be $45 per person.  You should expect to pay for prom tickets in late March - April.  All hours must be made up before purchasing prom tickets (this applies to ALL NHHS students going to prom). Permission form required.

 

Senior Trip (possible):  In the past, this has been a day trip to an amusement park such as Kings Island.  Cost will be approximately $90-$100.  We are exploring options for a 2-3 day trip (cost would increase).  Details will be shared by the end of November.

Senior Dinner - Nov. 19, 2025 - this event is for NHHS Seniors only.

Senior Sunrise Breakfast (Fall) - Dates TBD

Senior Movie Night (Winter) - Date TBD

*There is no additional cost to seniors for these events. (paid from dues money)

 

Announcements: Sign up for the Class of 2026 Google Classroom: ilgqyhp. (Same classroom from Junior year). This is our main form of communication. Your failure to participate may result in your missing important announcements.  

 

Transcript Requests: Go to www.parchment.com to request a transcript.  Transcript requests are free for you until August 1, 2026.  

 

Picture Days (JostensPix)

Monday, August 18-Senior Tux and Drape pictures (guys, wear a white t-shirt for under the dress shirt. Girls, BRING a black tank top you can change into that can easily slip off the shoulder for under the drape)

Wednesday, October 22--Retakes/Make-up Picture day (please wear the correct attire, as stated above, if getting your picture done this day)

EC3/ACADEMY STUDENTS WILL NEED TO COME TO NHHS TO HAVE THEIR  PICTURE TAKEN FOR FALL DRAPE AND TUX.

Senior Recognition Ads

Parents choose size and pay for the ad on jostens.com and then email pictures and text to Mrs. Dyer at amy.dyer@hardin.kyschools.us. Mrs. Dyer will send a proof of the ad, and the buyer can request changes at that time.

Last day to order is February 12. Prices go up slightly after November 30.

1/8 page--$45.00 (approx. 1-3 pictures)

1/4 page--$90.00 (approx. 2-5 pictures)

1/2 page--$140.00 (approx. 4-9 pictures)

Full page--$210.00  (approx. 6-20 pictures)

 

Suggested Payment Timeline: 

Aug - Sept: Order yearbook $55-$60 (and ad if desired)

Oct - Nov: Order *cap, gown, and tassel $50 and up (for extra items) *only REQUIRED item for senior year

Nov - Dec: Pay senior dues $45

March: Prom ticket $45 per person

April: Senior Trip $90-$100 *could change if a longer trip is scheduled
